The Ride Is Part of the Care
First Class Mobility was founded by a nurse with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. We provide non-emergency medical transportation from our base in Wood Dale to families and care facilities across Cook, DuPage, and Lake counties.
Why We Started
In more than 15 years of nursing, our founder watched the same scene play out again and again: a patient dressed and ready, a family calling around to find out where the ride was, and a doctor’s office waiting on the other end. For an older adult, or for anyone already managing a medical condition, something as simple as a ride had become a major source of stress.
No single patient started this company. It was the pattern. We came to believe that transportation should never be the reason someone can’t get to their care, so we built a company that looks at every ride from a healthcare point of view.
Why ‘First Class’
We chose the name First Class because it describes the level of care, respect, and professionalism we believe every person deserves. It should be something a rider can feel, which is why we care about the little things: being patient, knowing your name, keeping the van clean, and calling your family when they’d want to hear from us.
What We Stand For
- Punctuality.
- Your appointment time is our deadline.
- Communication.
- Families and facilities hear from us when it matters, and every ride can be followed live.
- Safety.
- Careful driving and a helping hand at every step and doorway.
- Dignity.
- We learn your name, we speak to you and not over you, and we never hurry you.
- Every Patient Is Different.
- Their care should reflect that, so we ask what each rider needs before the ride and bring exactly that help.

The People Behind the Wheel
Every First Class Mobility driver is background checked, drug screened, and certified in CPR and first aid, with hands-on training in wheelchair securement and passenger assistance. Just as important, every one of them is patient.
Who We Serve
We drive for families arranging rides for a parent, and for the hospitals, senior living communities, dialysis centers, and rehabilitation facilities that care for them. Whoever makes the call, the rider gets the same care.
